Market Square is a family-owned food driven venue located in the picturesque town of Monasterevin, County Kildare.

Our café is open Monday to Friday  from 7am until 3pm , Saturday 9am till 3pm with early morning coffee roasted for us by PS Coffee and our in-house freshly made pastries and desserts. Our café brunch menu is served from 11am until 3pm Monday to Saturday.

Monday night is Burger Night in our beautiful bar room.

Tuesday night is Chef Night in the bar room. Our chef will serve only one dish on Tuesday night created using ingredients sourced fresh that very morning.

Wednesday thru to Saturday we serve our evening dinner menu. Sourcing fresh, local ingredients daily, Head Chef Ian Clifford and Sous Chef Hayden Delaney have curated a menu which will change with the seasons. Comfort food classics like Bangers & Mash, Fish & Chips & Pot Pies are steady features.

Market fresh items change regularly based on availability as we work closely with our local suppliers.

Sundays at Market Square are for families. Our roast Sunday dinner will be offered from 12pm until 9pm every Sunday. Along with our roast dinner we offer a short menu of 2 or 3 items which are served to share. Think ‘serve yourself’ casserole bowls of shepherd’s pie on the table with lots of sides.

Our concise wine list has been created especially for us by our friends at Boutique Wines, Dublin.

Working only with family-owned vineyards, sourcing the best wines in the world at a reasonable price has been a passion of the small team at Boutique wines for over 25 years and we are delighted that they have chosen us as a client.

Our beautifully designed bar is open Monday to Saturday from 4pm until 9:30pm and Sunday from 12:00pm until 8:30pm, serving a selection of wines by the glass, fresh made cocktails, craft beers and the best pint of Guinness.
